(Economic Strengthening)





Key Competencies

Moderate all assessment and evaluation activities that form part of the NACOSA Young Women and Girls Economic Strengthening Programme project


  1. 1.Knowledge
  • In possession of recognised qualification as an Assessor and Moderator
  • In possession of a valid EB driver’s licence
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Training and Facilitation
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Moderator
  1. 2.Practice
  • Moderate member assessments / evaluations
  • Conduct the moderation in according to established assessment principles
  • Collect evidence of the candidate’s performance
  • Evaluate and judge the evidence
  • Record the assessment/evaluation decision
  • Provide feedback to the candidate and the organisation
  • Complete necessary documentation / reports
  • Review the assessment process with the team and implement changes as and when required.
  • Comply with all moderation and ETQA requirements
  • Follow up and support the placement of the participants in the relevant streams
  • Submission of Monthly Reports as required
  • Report writing and excellent administration skills
  • Good communication and advocacy skills
  • Honest, Industrious and innovative with an ability to work independently
  • Fluency in SiSwati/ IsiZulu and English
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Workshop/training and facilitation skills
  • Prior success working closely and building relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Proven track record of achieving results
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and take initiative
  • Prior experience working with communities
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented globally funded community development project
  • Report writing experience
  • Effectiveness in working or volunteering in a non-profit organisation that is focused on maintaining high quality work and low overhead
  • Have passion for our mission and a strong desire to impact a dynamic non-profit organisation
  • Be an innovative and creative thinker that tries new things and inspires others to do so
  • Have a very high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness
  • Have a strong work ethic and require minimal direction
  • Work well independently as well as part of a team

  • Based in the Ehlanzeni and Gert Sibande District
  • Able to commence employment on the 1st of July 2018

Remuneration: R 15 000 pm (Cost to Company)

Childline is a Non-profit organisation and does not pay market related salaries.
